BRABYNS HOLD 12 HOURS OF TENNIS IN AID OF MARIE CURIE
Brayns Tennis Club held an open day on Sunday 18th July in aid of Marie Curie charity. A continous doubles game started from 8am to 8pm with groups of 4 players rotating every hour. The end score was 87-86 to team A. We are awaiting to find out how much money we raised. We thank all those who have helped organise the event and all those who have taken part and supported the charity. Thank you everyone.
CLAUDIA HARTLEY WINS 8&U NORTH OF ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
Hot on the heels of her 3rd place in the 9&U 'Orange' County Finals we are delighted to announce that Claudia has won the 8&U 'Red' North of England Championships and also made it to the last 8 in the 9&U finals.
Claudia beat stiff competition from some of the best players in both Cheshire and Lancashire to win the Red event and from as far away as Yorkshire and Cumbria in the Orange.
Well done Claudia what fantastic results!
BRABYNS WINS EAST CHESHIRE WINTER LEAGUE
Brabyns has won the 2009/10 East Cheshire Winter League, finishing top of Division 1 without losing a match all season. Pictured are the successful team receiving the trophy from Winter League organizer, Charlie Steele.
