Brabyns Tennis Club was founded early last century, becoming a limited company in 1926. The club is situated in a beautiful and accessible location on Brabyns Brow between Marple and Marple Bridge, six miles east of Stockport.

Membership stands at around 250, with a 50/50 split between adult and juniors. There is a variety of all-year membership categories to suit all ages and pockets; seniors, juniors, senior citizens and weekday.

There is a strong club and match environment at Brabyns with teams competing in the NE Cheshire League at senior and junior level. There is also very keen and friendly social play, with dedicated sessions for certain groups; men's and ladies' evenings, junior times and mixed times.

Social events are organised during the year, for example; dinner dances, quiz nights, tennis fun days and a sangria evenings.
